WA Race Walking Tour Gold Meeting

On April 9, 2016, 84th edition of the race will be held, race which premiered in 1894 and has been regularly held since 1929.

World records had been falling at 50kilometer original route from Praha to Poděbrady. In recent years the major races take place in a local park, competitors walking 20 km on 1k circuit. Poděbrady hosted the successful 1997 World Cup, next year (2017) will host the European Cup.
